I Meet Myself at the End of Exile

There are transits, and there are initiations.
And then, there are moments like this, which defy everything I knew.

Right now, in the sign of Scorpio, Black Moon Lilith and Vesta are conjunct in the sky—aligned in ritual fire over a deep and ancient abyss. They sit at 6 degrees, igniting a collective threshold, a sacred confrontation. But for some of us, it’s more than that. It’s not just in the sky. It’s a transit that we can feel in our bones, our blood calls us to remember, our cells whisper instructions for our return.

When Lilith and Vesta come together in Scorpio, they form a ritual gate of reclamation. A furnace for what was cast out. A reckoning for what’s been hidden. And if, like me, they land over your natal Pluto, or oppose your North Node, or whisper directly to your Lilith, Vesta, or Part of Fortune—then this is not a passing aspect. It is a summoning.

The Return of the Exiled Priestess

In my own chart, both Black Moon Lilith and Asteroid Lilith sit in Virgo, conjunct each other at 3 and 6 degrees. And there, too, rests my Part of Fortune, marking the place of ease and embodiment, fulfillment and joy. And further still, Vesta—keeper of the flame, sovereign of devotion—completes the temple at the late degrees Virgo.

This is a clear mark of sacred remembrance.
A distinct signature of devotional rebellion.

I was born to walk the path of exile, and to find the temple within.
To return not just as one who escaped, but as the one who remembered truth.
And now I know: the only true exile is the exile from yourself.

That’s what this transit has shown me.
That’s what these placements demand.

Black Moon Lilith: The Refusal That Became a Flame

Black Moon Lilith is not a planet, but a mathematical point—the lunar apogee, the farthest point of the Moon’s orbit from the Earth. In astrology, she represents the wild, the rejected, the forbidden feminine. The one who said no and was cast out. The one who would not lie beneath him. The one who remembered her power and was exiled for it.

But when she is conjunct Asteroid Lilith, that myth is doubled. The archetype and the instinct fuse.
Lilith is no longer a story.
She becomes a current.

With these placements, you are often woman who remembers what it felt like to be told you were too much, too dark, too angry, too sexual, too loud, too knowing.

But don’t just carry the wound of the cast-out woman—you carry the power of her return.

You carry the radiance and power of a woman who has lost it all and gained everything: yourself.

Vesta: The Sacred Fire Within

Vesta in Virgo is not gentle. She is precise. She knows what belongs. She lights a fire not for warmth, but for consecration. She keeps the vigil. She turns the wound into a lamp which lights the way forward.

And when she joins Lilith—when they both burn together—your rage becomes ritual. Your refusal becomes holy order.

You learn to speak like a blade.
You speak like a storm breaking open the sky.
You rest like roots drinking deep in the dark.
You move like a fault line, reshaping the land beneath you.

When Vesta is conjunct Lilith, you are not just a woman—you are a temple to the hidden and repressed aspects of the divine feminine.

And when your Part of Fortune is there too, like mine is, then joy is not found in performance or praise.

It is found in truth.
It is found in sovereignty.
It is found in your refusal to abandon yourself.

The Opposition to the North Node: A Destiny That Requires No Compromise

During this current transit, Lilith and Vesta are opposing my natal North Node. And this feels less like a typical aspect and more like a deep, cosmic reckoning.

The North Node represents the future self—the soul’s becoming. But when Lilith and Vesta oppose it, they say: You cannot go forward without her.

Of course not.
Because I am her.

I am the woman who was exiled from herself.
I am the one who was told to forget the fire.
I am the one who was too much, too early, too often.

But these transits have brought me into a confrontation with the truth.
I have seen with my own eyes the structures of lies used against me and so many others.

I trust myself.
I see what I see.
I know what I know.
I will not look away.
I will not be silenced.

This transit may feel heavy, but it is not a block—it’s a gate.
Not a punishment, but a threshold.
You can’t pass into your future self until you reclaim the self you buried to survive.

This is the soul’s return through the underworld.
This is Lilith keeping vigil at the door of your own becoming.

You Were Never Broken—You Were Becoming

It’s tempting to think of these placements as heavy, difficult, painful. And yes—they are all of those things. But they are also liberating, joyful, erotic, mystical, real.

To carry Lilith conjunct Black Moon Lilith Lilith conjunct Part of Fortune conjunct Vesta is to carry the mark of the embodied priestess.
It means your healing is your service.
Your pain is your ritual.
Your refusal is your vow.

You are walking as the path.

You don’t need to be healed to be holy.
You don’t need to be soft to be sacred.
You don’t need to be good to be worthy.

You just need to return.
To end the exile.
To remember that you are the altar, the fire, and the priestess all at once.

A Final Blessing: For the Woman Who Returned

To you, woman of exile and flame:

May your voice be the spell that breaks the silence.
May your body be the temple they could never burn.
May your joy be the heresy that blesses the earth.
May your memory be your map.
May your sacred rage be your guide.
May your devotion be your defiance.

And may you know this, deeply and truly:
The only true exile is the exile from yourself.
And you, my love, have already returned.
